There are a number of events coming up for 17Percent founder Sam in the next couple of months…
On 20 February I will be part of a discussion panel after the Agent 160 show at Theatre 503. It looks like being a brilliant event, and I have been told that the Sunday has already sold out, so book for the Monday now if you are thinking of going.
On 8 March, to celebrate International Women’s Day, I am giving a talk at Rochester Community Hub on female playwrights from Aphra Behn to today. It’s free but you need to book in advance as numbers are limited. I have also written an article on Aphra Behn for Kent’s WOW magazine, so keep your eyes peeled for that!
Finally, on 21 March, I will be hosting She Writes at the Horsebridge Centre in Whitstable. She Writes is 17Percent’s showcase of short plays by women. This time we have 9 short plays on an international theme which will receive a rehearsed reading.
