News from ‘She Writes’ playwright Claire Booker

Claire Booker, whose powerful dark play ‘Harriet is Hungry’ was performed at our first She Writes night in October has two more short plays selected for performance in November.

‘Fingers and Toes’ has been selected as a finalist in this year’s Ovation Theatre Awards, and will be performed at Square Chapel Centre for the Arts, Halifax on Saturday Nov 13th.
It’s a play about a couple struggling with fertility problems.

And ‘Lost Property’ has been selected for Lost Theatre’s five minute play festival and will be performed at The Lost Theatre, south London on Tuesday 29th November.  Claire says it’s a surreal play about bereavement.

If you are in Halifax or London, check them out.
