She Writes
A showcase of short plays by women playwrights
We launched She Writes, our occasionally regular night of new short plays by women in October 2011. Since then we have held an event every two or three months. The format is a script-in-hand performance, showcasing about 8-10 plays on a loose theme at each event. The night is programmed by Sam Hall and directed by Sarah Davies. The event is held at Whitstable’s Horsebridge Centre, and we are grateful for their support of this event. From October 2011 when the event was launched to date, we have showcased 48 short plays by 32 writers.
